Happy Easter!

Oh we had a great Easter down on the farm...almost everyone made it home.  We missed you Lauren!

Grandma D had an Easter egg hunt in the front yard.  It was a fantastic day and we spent most of the day outside.

Somehow this is the only photo of all 5 grand-dogs together (and of course a few other cute kids in there too).  LOL!  Mom is not much of a dog person and yet she loves us enough to let us bring our dogs with us when we visit.  The dogs love roaming around on the farm and Taylor loved her first visit to the farm.  She was pretty tired when we got home on Sunday.

It wouldn't be a trip to the farm without some redneck activities.  After helping Grandma pick up sticks, Uncle Kevin gave all the kids a rid on the trailer!

I love Hope's expression.  Pure happiness.

Then some of the grown-ups got in on the fun too!

We had a great dinner and good times with family.

I love going home to the farm and I am so thankful for my family.  Here are some cards inspired by both...

I was a little late, but gave this card to mom for her birthday.  :)

Until next time...

Scientific Egg-speriment

Hope LOVES to color eggs every Easter season...

The colors always start out with the light pastel colors until Hope gets experimental with mixing colors.

Joe just couldn't wait to eat an egg, but Hope was insisting he wait until she was finished.

This year we ended up adding food coloring to the water, which made the eggs a very vibrant color.

Thankfully, most of the color has faded from her hands, since we have dance pictures tomorrow.  LOL!

Look at those colors!  AWESOME!

The Taylor update...Hope decided she might like to go camping in her doll camper.

Yep, that is her in the doll camper.  She was not impressed.  LOL!

Oh, they do love playing with each other.

And the morning wake up call...Taylor loves getting in bed with Hope each morning.

And can I tell you how much I love our neighborhood...we had an impromptu backyard party down at a neighbors house.  It was a beautiful night to hang out on the patio and they even cooked us a great meal.  What more could we ask for!  Thanks Deen's!  It was a fun night.

Since it was a beautiful Spring night...so here are some Spring inspired cards.

Have a great night.  I think it is hot tub time!
