Until next time...

Well, last night I spent my evening with neighbors that were packing up to move from Iowa back to Texas.  They are moving back to their families, their roots...but we are going to miss them here in Iowa.

They are those kinds of friends that come into your life for a reason.  Amy got me through some pretty rough times the past few years.  Thank you for your listening ears.

And Brian...well, thank you for finding a job that brought you to Iowa and our neighborhood.  ;)  I will miss you too.  Thanks for introducing me to sour beer!

Thanks for the beer tonight while I cleaned the crap out of your fridge.  LOL!  I am excited to come visit you soon and have the cabana boy (aka - YOU) deliver me drinks ALL day by your pool as you promised. :)

The goodbye shenanigans began several weeks ago...on city wide junk day.  Our city allows you to put anything out and they will take it away for free.  Well, since Brian and Amy were moving, they had a LOT of stuff set out, including the lamp.  Some of it was perfect to go with a neighbor's couch they were getting rid of...and whalla, the "FRIENDS" inspired photo came together.  In about 10 minutes we came up with the idea and sent a text to meet at Amy's house.  It was raining out, but we didn't care.

Then we decided to initiate the new neighbors down the street by setting up an entire living space on their front porch and had a mini photo session there as well.  Who knew junk day could be so much FUN!!!  I can't image what our other neighbors thought watching us carry this junk all over the hood taking photos.  HaHaHa!

A few weeks ago we had an official going away party...here is the extended gang that gathered to say goodbye and send them back on their way to Texas.

Who knew saying goodbye could be so much fun! (Well until last night/this morning, when we really had to say goodbye).

Seriously, thanks for being great neighbors, friends, confidants, etc.  Come back soon to visit...we'll leave the light on for you!

So to send them on their way...here are some cards in their honor!  Drive safe my friends...

Ya'all come back and visit from Texas soon, ya hear!  ;)
